Robert M. Epps, President and CEO
Robert has 38 years of business experience in the energy industry with extensive executive management experience with mid to large size (Fortune 500) corporations. He has been President of Cimarron Resources, LLC since 2007, an entity that has developed, managed, and advised on projects throughout the United States. Robert is also a founding member in Riverway Storage, LLC, an entity that successfully structured, and closed long term commitments for a majority of the capacity in one of the largest natural gas salt dome cavern storage projects in the U.S Gulf Coast.
Robert graduated from Texas A&M University in 1980 with a BBA in Accounting and received an MBA (Executive Program) from the University of Houston in 1987.
Mike Owings, Senior Vice President of Exploration
Mike has worked in the mining industry for over 35 years. His experience includes underground and open pit mining operations, mine mechanical and electrical maintenance, heavy equipment operator, exploratory core drilling, exploration, and research & development to name a few. Mike grew up in Bagdad, Arizona and has extensive knowledge of the local area. Mike worked in various positions at the underground Bruce Mine operated by Cyprus AMAX (located in the Bagdad mining district). He also developed prospects in Yavapai County, including the nearby Coors Mine, for Tonogold Resources.
Mike has certifications in geology and electronics technology from Yavapai College and has been active in continued geologic exploration.
Jeffrey J. Janda, Business Development
Jeff has spent the last 16 years working in the mineral exploration industry and has explored for gold, silver, uranium, barite, and lithium. He has co-founded and served as President of three junior mining companies. He was President of Tonogold Resources, Inc. from 2002 to 2012 and served on the Board of Directors until 2016. He was also President of Prospect Uranium (from 2005 to 2011) and Persistence Mining (from 2012 to 2015). Prior to working in the mining industry, Jeff worked in the financial services industry as an investment banker. He co-founded his own stock brokerage firm, Janda & Garrington, which he sold in 1999. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1990 where he received a B.A. Degree in Linguistics.
